The world of denim fashion, extremely dynamic and rapidly changing but still conservative and deeply rooted in history and tradition is always looking for original ways to assert its strong identity and personality among the multitude of consumer tastes
The increasing demand for washed look(garments with locally differentiated color areas),with many abrasions and shades obtained with brushes or other mechanical means ,has strongly influenced the mode of production of denim garments,in many cases anticipating the typical “characterization”by the step of garment manufacturing to that of the fabric finishing
These new finishing processes have a significant influence not only on the aesthetics of the fabric,to keep also in the final look, but also on the finished garment that should be soft and with perfect dimensional stability, especially important when it comes to a stretch fabric.
AIRO®24,open width continuous tumbler produced by Biancalani in Prato-Tuscany,combining a powerful mechanical action finely adjustable, with the physical effects of the temperature, allows to dry and finish the denim fabric giving it permanent softness and uniform compation, both in warp and in weft, which can be easily controlled by varying the operation parameters of the machine
After treatment in Biancalani AIRO®24 , if you want a flat surface you can still apply the sanfor, alternatively you can simply treat the denim fabric with steam, roll and hand it to the garment maker.
